Welcome to The Ernest Thompson Seton Pages!
This site was originally developed by Dee Seton Barber and others associated with the Ernest Thompson Seton Institute. Dee, the adopted daughter of Ernest Thompson Seton and Julia M. Seton, passed away in 2006. She devoted much of her life to preserving the legacy of her father.
The Institute is not currently active, but its aims and interests are continued by a number of individuals with a sincere interest in maintaining and preserving the ideals legacy of Ernest Thompson Seton and the Woodcraft movement.
I have been fascinated by the life and legacy of Ernest Thompson Seton for about the last 40 years. It has been my pleasure to meet people throughout the world while following the trail.
After our recent refreshing of the website, we are able to see a hint of where the website's visitors are coming from. Remarkably, we've had 222 visitors from 31 countries in just two weeks time. That speaks volumes about the continuing interest of people world-wide in Seton's legacy.
We look forward to expanding the site and adding much more material. In the near future, we expect to add more graphical material and, hopefully, some sound recordings. Check back often!
